what shall I tile basement floor with?

I need to replace floor tiles in basement hallway, kitchen and bathroom. It's quite dark victorian basement with low ceiling and all the walls are white.

I don't want anything very shiny, or anything difficult to clean. I'd have polished concrete in a perfect world.

Any suggestions?
