Best under stairs storage

We are moving to a house with quite a small hallway. Nowhere really for shoe rack, hooks, places to dump bags. There is a cupboard under the stairs.

What's the best way to use the space? Shelving? Wraparound shelving.

Can it be kitted out a bit like a built in wardrobe? How would I do that?

Suggestions please.

I have no idea as I've never got my understairs storage sorted in a good way. Hopefully someone will be along to tell us both .
