"Meets objectives with a little support" - is this ok?

DD has just got her report for Y1 and whilst most of it is glowing, some things say that she has met her objectives with adult support. Does this mean that she has met her objectives satisfactorily, or they supposed to meet objectives without support?

I'd say it means she needs an adult supporting her to meet those objectives - maybe just to encourage and reassure her that she is doing the right thing, or maybe because she needs help with spellings or something.

You could ask the teacher for clarification, and if there's anything you could do to help her become a bit more independent.

Thanks, Tilly. Yes, it definitely does mean that she needs an adult to help her meet the objectives, I just wondered whether that still counted as meeting the objectives.
