Pretty big changes to primary education, schools, inspections, parental rights, G&T, SEN, teachers' competence etc.

Five -yearly fitness checks (already checked yearly now)
Pupils get right to safe and happy school
More cash for pupils in deprived area
High Performance schools to work with worse neighbours (or else)

What about that idea that every child who needs one will get 1:1 teaching from a specially clever tutor?
Take all the IEPs out of my class and I'm down to 24, remove the NOC and I'm down to 18.
Can we do report cards on parents?
Reciprocity?

So is that the vociferous group of parents who think homework should be banned in primary schools, or the equally numerous, equally vociferous group who think it should stay.

You only have to look at any education thread on MN to see how unlikely you are to get a consensus.
