My 6 year old needs a navy garbadine coat for school and I can't find one anywhere. Does anyone know of any websites? She needs a long one.
Bet John Lewis does these. I'll look for you.
hello ppb.long time no see.although I am currently in disguise, so you won't know who I am, but hello anyway.
Thanks!!!!!I did check John Lewis and I got nothing. I would have thought it was a common item but it doesn't seem to be
I know, I know, its been ages. I have been up to my eyeballs. I don't think I've been on here since March.
There have been threads pondering your whereabouts!Good to have you back.
No, not at JL. Am amazed. Still looking..
Really????????????? Didn't think I would have been missed. Thanks JK, If you can find one you will be my hero
dont the school tell you?there is a navy coat here but very ££££££ and not sure if trad gabardine
No the school doesn't know and they aren't sold in the shop where i bought everything else. I'm desperate so price is not an issue
It doesn't sai if that coat is waterproof
Isn't garbadine usually treated?
Sorry, I am flummoxed. Enid's link looks your best bet paula. Good luck!
I called Perry's and it isn't garbadine.
I doubt you'll find one online tbh. It's probaly only going to be stocked by a small independent shop these days. Why hasn't the school recommended an outfitter?
apparently their usual supplier stopped making them
Oh dear, that's not fair for the school to insist then imo.Thb I'd wait until term starts and then ask the school for their opinion/advice. Because as we all know it will be blazing sunshine for the whole of September and dd won't need a gabardine coat for ages.
It isn't fair and I'm really irritated to be honest. I know she won't need it right away. I just wanted to be prepared
well thanks for trying
try googling with alternate spellingsGaberdineGabardine
Thanks dilemma, I'll try calling them tommorow
I'll give them a go. You would think that would be the case at my daughter's school but it doesn't seem to be.
Thanks Dilemma, I appreciate the help
