(Also posted on Oxford board but not sure there's much traffic)

Hi all, planning a move to Oxford, hopefully north Oxford, and wanted to suss out the local primary schools.

I've heard good things about Phil & Jim's and Wolvercote but not sure we'd get in to either of those (housing in relevant areas is scarce). Does anyone here have recent experience of St Barnabas or Cutteslowe? Or any others to recommend?

Thanks!

Hi there, no direct experience of any of those. I'm considering the same schools and I think I'm going to go with Cutteslowe. The area is changing and I've been really impressed with what I have seen. I really like the fact it is culturally diverse and rich. Fingers crossed its thr right decision!

I live on the Cutteslowe catchment and have heard great things about it (my children are at secondary now but went to a different primary - Phil and Jim in fact, which is actually under subscribed at the moment so you'd probably get in anyway!) Like PP says, a culturally rich and lively area, lots of green space etc - we really love it here. Smile
