Private tutor advice

My daughter has just started year 2.
Unfortunately their school bubble burst last week and so she is at home for a week and a half.
My neighbours kid had similar. He goes to a different school. He had been sent home for a week and a half. I think he had been back at school for a day or two and it burst again. Now he is home for a week and a half.
She told me she is going to get a private tutor because she thinks his schooling is going to start to suffer with all these bubbles bursting. Her kid is in year 3.
I'm not sure about any local tutors. Is there a good online tutor service that has good reviews.
I'm going to monitor how the year goes but if the bubble keeps bursting the work put online by the school isn't likely to be enough I dont think. Is it a good idea? Or should I just encourage her to read as much as possible?

Does she need one? They can be great for less confident children or children that are behind, but at year 2 I would say that reading widely, doing some writing and spending time playing and talking and making things together would be enough for the average child.

She just has very little confidence in her writing. She is fine with maths.
She doesnt write.
Her home learning I'm having to do verbally with her because if I try and get her to write anything she gets upset.

What does her class teacher say about her writing?

She just started the new year.
I was giving her time to get settled and for them to get to know her better.
We aren't allowed to approach staff because of covid and have to email in any concerns. And now they have been locked down.
One of her TA in her class is a private tutor. I got her number from my sister who has used her for tutoring. I did speak to her but she says because my child goes to the school she cant tutor her because it is a conflict of interest, but she told me my daughter was in the middle group and the things to concentrate on was ensuring her tall letters were tall and short letters are short, and to work on the year 1 and 2 spellings.
But then the class bubble burst.

I am a teacher and tutor and in year 2 there is not a lot to be lost with a short absence from home especially if you are proactive at home with the learning. :)

What does she struggle with in her writing? Physical or content?

My eldest struggles with the physical so we only write fun things, like comics and Christmas lists. I let them write what they want to for the exercise and fun.

Op I've got tutors, words of mouth mostly.
You could ask on local social media groups.
Are you getting reading books? From school, the scheme? We had to si dd and no books given out so maybe buy in the reading scheme from place like reading chest. It's been invaluable to us.

Look up year spelling and help her with them? White board to write... Print off 1st 100 hfw and 200 hfw...
