if your DC had the same teacher for two years, how did they find moving on?

DS is a bit of a creature of habit and loves his teacher, who he had for P1 and now for P2.

She is very strict and I think the day runs to a very precise schedule, which definitely suits DS. He came home yesterday saying the children had been discussing going into P3 and who they would get and he only wants Mrs X again.

I'm not going to make a big deal of it with him, was just wondering how any other DC got on?

Our school do 2 years with the same teacher and the children don't seem to suffer when moving.
Sure there is a few who may be sad at the beginning of sept but they soon get into the habit of having a new teacher.

It happened for my dd's class. The teacher got VERY emotional...dd, not so much, she was excited about her new teacher.

Fine, he’d actually got a bit tired of her by the end.
