Dulwich Prep London -recent experiences?

Hi - I am considering Dulwich Prep London for our son. He's sociable but sensitive and quite academic. Not sure yet about sports but suspect he may be athletic. Is the all boys environment effective? My son does get on quite well with girls. Any anecdotes about recent experiences with the school or thoughts from existing parents would be very much appreciated!

Hi my DS is there and we cannot fault it at all. We moved him from a mixed pre-prep and he absolutely adores it. The academic standard is a lot higher than his previous school, the teaching is amazing, huge range of sports, music and extra-curricular options. Highly recommend!

Hi - really appreciate this feedback - thanks. Are there any potential drawbacks to this school, does anyone think? Just such a huge decision when it comes to schools and it can feel like a gamble!

I can't really think of any.

Academic results are excellent with lots of boys getting acholatships to top boarding and day schools. This does mean the boys work very hard and so are under a fair amount of pressure but the school is very careful to minimise this as much as possible. The pastoral care is very good with a new on site counselling service in case any boys need it.

How old is your DS and what are your other options?
