Schools in wimborne

After seeing and hearing horror stories of no school places at all. I thought I would ask for some advice. DH would like us to move to Wimborne area later this year and I would need places for a 4 year old and an 8 year old. Is there any chance of a Reception and Year 4 place in the area or am I going to have to bite the bullet and send them private until I can get a place. Thanks for your help and any advice on the area and schools more than welcome.

private options would be Dumpton or Castle Court. Both have a pretty good reputation.
