About 6 months ago we were looking at primary schools and I remember one school sold itself on the website as being a "learning school", or something very similar. The premise seemed to be that there was a cohesive system used by all the teachers for all the subjects that made it easier for the children to learn because the same structures were used in all lessons.

The techniques looked like a cross between mind maps and tree diagrams or flow charts. It looked a bit wired to say the least, and seemed to be affiliated to a company / organization who provided the teacher training and trade marked the technique.

Needless to say I can't find it now. It seems to have gone from all the school websites. I am keen to find out more. Can anyone help? Does anyone recognise what I'm describing?
