Hello, please can anyone offer me some up to date information about this school? For a variety of reasons, I'm looking to move my DS who is 9 from his current school to Kingswood House. We have been to visit and it seems to be a good and nurturing school but I wondered if anyone has any information to offer. My son is ok academically, but he is not sporty at all. I'll be grateful for any information. Thanks.

"My very bright but very shy, 5-year-old son had been struggling with maths at his state school. He was in a class of 30 and no-one noticed he was having difficulty keeping up and was effectively "falling through the net." He had become very anxious and was waking up at night crying, he didn't want to go to school. We decided it was probably best for our son to go to an independent school where class sizes are smaller and he would have a greater chance of fulfilling his potential. From the very first Open Day we attended, we knew Kingswood House was the school for our son and his younger brother who was due to begin pre-school. Watching the relaxed, happy interaction between boys and members of staff, the way our "tour guide" (a senior boy who was a superb ambassador for the School) answered our questions politely and warmly, made the decision easy. After reading through the prospectus, one sentence leapt out at me: "We will ensure your son doesn't fall through the net." We attended a second Open Day and four months later, at the start of a new term, both my sons began life as newly-enrolled pupils at Kingswood House School. It's the best decision we ever made for our sons. Within a matter of weeks my elder son, now 6, was a different boy. He was transformed into a confident, happy and high-achieving pupil who'd settled in easily and made lots of new friends. He was stimulated by the subjects he was studying, doing really (including maths!) and loving all the sports he was learning to play. My younger son took to pre-prep life instantly and they are both thriving, happy and obtaining great results. I know that Kingswood House is providing my sons with a fantastic, all-round education and they will be nurtured to their full potential."

The original post was 18 months ago helen, however your post reads like an extract from a prospectus.

I would ask MNHQ to edit your post, your name, your children's and their school year is very very identifying.
