DS school are having a sleepover at the school tonight! £12 a child. They take sleeping bag/pillow, cereal for morning & wash bag.

They will sleep in classrooms with their teachers, have hot chocolate & play games. Drop off at 7pm collect at 9.30am.

Open to years 3 & 4 !

What an amazing idea & dedicated teachers/TA's

Over 88 kids staying, so raising a canny bit of cash too.

Ours does this for free, or just enough ££ to cover food. blush

Nice idea but £12 is a bit steep. Are you paying the teachers extra?

Feckbox Fri 26-Oct-12 16:54:54

Kudos to the teachers!

Northumberlandlass Fri 26-Oct-12 16:59:59

If it was free it would make any money though?!

I thought it was cheap actually! Happy to pay it. smile

Northumberlandlass Fri 26-Oct-12 17:00:38

It wouldn't make any money

£12 for an overnight babysitter - bargain

maebyfunke Fri 26-Oct-12 17:02:53

Seems like a bargain to me and a great idea.

lljkk Fri 26-Oct-12 17:10:11

People would not pay £12 around here.

Mintyy Fri 26-Oct-12 17:23:10

Your teachers are absolute gems! Hope they all have a lovely time. £12 is a bargain.

Northumberlandlass Fri 26-Oct-12 17:38:27

That's exactly what I thought Dame smile

insanityscratching Fri 26-Oct-12 17:45:21

£5 at dd's school, breakfast provided, begins in y1.

Northumberlandlass Fri 26-Oct-12 17:51:11

Insanity That is a bargain !!! Our teachers only do it every 2 years and for Yrs 3 & 4. Maybe it takes them 2 years to get over it grin

44SoStartingOver Fri 26-Oct-12 17:54:25

Sounds great. I'd be terrified to do it myself. A) child protection fears
B) too many kids

LifeIsBetterInFlipFlops Fri 26-Oct-12 18:10:34

£12 for a night's babysitting and no early wake up...how lovely!

PatriciaHolm Fri 26-Oct-12 18:47:02

Ours did it for yr2 last year. £15, inc film, breakfast and hotdog. Huge takeup!
