Looking at them for my dcs (aged 7 and 8) and was wondering if anyone had any experience they would care to share.

Royal High for under-confident not super accademic but very creative dd

KES for super accademic ds.

Interested in opinions as I went to RS (before it amalgamated with Bath High) about a million years ago.

Did you enjoy it? Have to say, I was really impressed by it, it seemed quite a nurturing school - but that may just be a triumph of marketing.

On the whole, yes.
Weekends were bloody long and boring though.
Loved sneaking out after lights out to go swimming.

When I went it was mostly boarding. Had some fantastic teachers esp for English and History, also some bad especially Physics.

Wow this brings back memories...for what it's worth I used to play school netball matches at the Royal School (and Bath High for that matter) and, as pupil of a local comp, was extremely jealous of the lovely buildings and facilities.

RS, BH and KES were always the creme de la creme of Bath schools ...

Thanks mumeuro - they look lovely to me, but I think I may be easily impressed.
