What can anyone tell me about the boarding accommodations at Ludgrove school?

Have only visited once but was not impressed. Rooms seemed very dreary. Bathrooms down the hall -- can't imagine little 8 year olds walking down a hallway alone in the night... Bunk beds quite basic. Dining room seemed cheerful and I've been told food is good.
