What do triangles mean in DD's EYFS learning journey?

DD just finished reception and we were given her learning journey to take home. It has lots of little bits of paper with comments, numbers and whatnot related to EYFS points, some of them have triangles and others have one or two sides of a triangle in comment areas.
Just wondering if anyone knows what those triangles are for?

Thanks

I would wait for a teacher to come along but i think that children need to demonstrate things three times before they can be said to have achieved them. So I can understand using a triangle to mark off different times they do certain things.

I'm guessing it's that school's particular system and it's something along the side of one side means they've covered it in class, two sides means they've covered it and she's started to get the idea, whole triangle means they've covered it and she's got it completely.

Could probably phrase that a bit better and I'm guessing slightly since schools have a myriad of individual wierd and wonderful ways of doing things - but something along those lines.

I agree about it being the school's system possibly
1 side = emmergent
2 sides =developing
3 sides = secure

which seem to be the latests "buzz" words

Thanks. The teacher was an NQT this year so probably is up on the latest 'buzz' words.
