My DD will be 11yrs in November, she didn’t get to do anything last year as we were away, so want to start planning something for her.

What did your 10/11yr do for their birthday party?

DD10's birthday is coming up and she is sharing a swimming party with DD7 at a local leisure centre. There will be a huge inflatable assault course type thing and 45mins to get changed and scarf a birthday tea at the end. She had a party like this 2 years ago too.
Other parties this year:

  • a cupcake decorating party at the birthday girl's house.
  • a zorbing party at the leisure centre. My petite dd found this quite tiring and the zorb heavy.
  • emoji disco party at a local club
  • sleep over (for a small number)
  • theatre trip (Hetty Feather this year) b y o ticket; preceded by tea at birthday girl's house
  • bring your bicycle to local park/cricket ground; parents organised races, etc. and grilled burgers/sausages

DD had a joint disco with her friend for their 11th.

They invited around 60, which was nice as it was the last party of primary school

I think she would love either of those ideas actually, so thank you!

For DD's 10th with her school friends we did a chocolate making party with an afternoon tea at home for 6 girls.

The 11th is coming soon and she wants to have a Lush party.

We also do a small party with 3 out-of-school friends. Last year we had a sleepover with a photoshoot (they brought party dresses, hats, we had props and made lots of photos in front of a white wall). This year she wants to go to dinner with them plus 1 hour shopping (small amount of money for Claire's etc).

Other parties she went to:
trampoline
hot tub
swimming
Bowling and dinner
swimming with inflatables.

I took ten 7/8 year olds to the theatre. They loved it.
