dd is 11 and has just started secondary school; we bought her 1st mobile phone just before this (having managed to hold out until now)
Last night her phone was vibrating to say a text had come through after she had gone to bed..followed by a few more texts
As a nosey sod I had a look and my heart sank a little to read the phone conversations she had over the last few days...loads of swearing. Lots of F this and F that...dh never swears & I'm strictly a 'bugger' and 'bloody' woman with the occasional 'shite' when I slice my thumb open, chopping veg. DD tells me off when I swear!
I don't know whether to say anything or nor, esp when the mother of the other girl is a right stickler for behaviour and will probably chew my ear off if she sports the texts as well. Her daughter is a bit sneaky and I can imagine her deleting hers whilst leaving all my darling's cusses!
I know it doesn't seem much in the grand scheme of things but three weeks ago she was playing with lego and now she's going on about someone bitchslapping some f*ing cow
argghhhh
