Lower back pain after surgical abortion

I had the procedure on Wednesday.
Bleeding is minimal and pregnancy symptoms are disappearing quickly, i dont have fever. I just have the awful lower back ache.
Its not actual pain its an ache. I feel heavy like a strained it. Its really uncomfortable 😞

I also feel bruised in the vaginal area, but find this less surprising and more manageable.

Any one had this?

I'd get in touch with the ward and speak to someone, just in case. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi! Thanks for checking in.

The pain in my lower back was really strong. More like really uncomfortable pressure. I realised that having had the procedure wide awake, I was extremely bruised. I was clenching, slightly hanging off the bed, I was moving a bit from the pain during the op and all this added up;I just had big bruises everywhere. It hurt to go the bathroom (not pee) and Thats when I realised that they were bruises. After a week it got much much better and now its been over 2 weeks the pain is gone.

I had sex after 2 weeks and it hurt when he went too deep so waiting a little longer.

Im giving all these details so hopefully it helps another lady on here. There wasnt much info on back pain here or online and I think its due to having the procedure under local anaesthetic which is an unusual way.

I had my surgery about 5 days ago and was sedated. I remember nothing but have been experiencing the worst back and lower abdomen pressure and the pain is only when on my feet. I just started bleeding and passing clots today after experiencing very little the day of procedure. I went for followup this morning because I was frightened. There's no infection and dr says uterus empty but he put me on misoprostol to help with the bleeding and clots. I hope this all resolves soon because it is pure agony.
