Hey,

I had sex on the Sunday, which was four days after the last day of my period. However the condom split. My ovulation timeline is between the 17th and the 22nd of this month, though my most fertile day is on the 21st.

I took the morning after pill on Monday.

Would the morning after pill still be effective ? I know the MAP is less effective a couple of days running to Ovulation and when your already ovulating.

If you have already ovulated the morning after pill will not work (it works by delaying your ovulation). It's still best to take it which you have. The sooner you take it the more effective it is but they are not 100%. To be honest the most effective emergency contraception is the copper coil which you can have up to 5 days after having sex or up to 5 days after your earliest possible ovulation day. If you would consider the coil then call your GP for an urgent phone consult in the morning to see if you're eligible and if they can do it for you. A bonus of the copper coil is it will cover you as contraception for the next ten years as well!
