Where to live?

No idea how pregnancy will affect me or what it's like, but have some big life decisions to make soon and with childcare.

Either I can live a bit nearer to DH's family (who may/may not be able to help out but says they will) and in a bigger house or can live closer to my family and nearer friends but in a much smaller place, more difficult commuting etc.

I want to move somewhere with space because of baby but if I moved nearer to DH's family it would be about 1 1/2 hours to get back to my family/support network with baby. Is this too far?

Also worried about offending either side of the family if we don't live near them!

What do people normally do?
