Pregnancy choices

BPAS or Marie Stopes?

I'm currently 5/6 weeks pregnant and have booked in for a medical same day termination in two weeks time at the nearest BPAS clinic. It's not been an easy decision but is the right one for our family. There is a Marie stopes clinic I could go to which is further away and probably get in earlier. Is there any difference? Thank you

Laura - completely possible to be happy with the decision to terminate. I was and still am.

Monkeytrouser - BPAS were brilliant when I had my termination. The whole process was very supportive. I also contacted Marie Stopes but couldn't get an appointment or the support I wanted.

Laura, I don't think OP came here for people to try and talk her out of it
It is completely possible for a woman to move on from the decision to terminate, its a decision not taken lightly
I used a BPAS clinic around 9 yes ago and had no issues with it

Thank you, they were very kind on the phone. And yes it's really not one that we've taken lightly.

Laura hun - that's a damn unhelpful comment on a board about pregnancy choices. Do you harass the women "in the abortion field" in a similar manner where you work? Reported.

Monkey, Marie stopes are not great if I'm honest, met many ladies who have had massive problems with them. I would go with BPAS if you have the choice.

And laura you sound awful, the OP has made a very hard choice and has asked for advice not your personal opinion. I feel for your poor patients and colleagues who have to work with you, do you preach to everyone you meet?

I went to Marie Stopes, got an appt same day and had first tablet 3 days later. I was 5 weeks pregnant and it was important to me to be seen quickly. I found them absolutely fine. Really caring and efficient.
I don't regret my decision one bit and am completely ok with it. Of course it's possible.

Hi there. BPAS are very supportive. Could anyone share what the same day termination is like?
