Implant removal...non-hormonal alternatives?

I had my implant put in following the birth of my son 4 months ago and I have hated it since the day I got it in. I am depressed and anxious, constantly snapping at my partner, my hair is weak and falling out, skin is awful and worst of all, I've put on 2 stone since having it.

I know that these are all symptoms of the implant because they are exactly the same as when I had the depo, and is the main reason I stopped getting it.

My question is- what's the best alternative? I am looking into non-hormonal options such as the IUD. What are you experiences with these two methods?
