Sunburnt bump!

Yesterday decided to get a bit of Vit D and sunbathe for a bit, bared my bump as well to give baby a bit of light and thought it would help tone down my very vivid stretchmarks(as last pregnancy was a twin one)if I had a bit of a tan on it!

Only lasted 30 mins from 3pm but last night saw my bump was very red and is now all itchy and sore. Won't be doing that again!

Ouch! You could shine a torch on your bump next time to give the baby some light !

Um, no. Not a great idea. The skin is pulled tight, so will burn much quicker than your arms etc, plus your tummy doesnt normally get the sun at all, so is already more sensitive.

Honestly, sunbathing just isnt worth it. Sit outside in the shade with a very-dilute Pimms. Much more pleasant.
