I've seen my midwife but as she was going on about my glucose I forgot to mention this to her. I have been getting stabbing pains across my right side on and off for a while now but the last few days they have become really bad and pretty much continous. It hurts when I sit, rest, walk and move. I thought at first it was just everything stretching but because the pain is getting worse and there all the time I'm beginning to wonder. I am nearly 30 weeks pregnant and have already been in hospital due to contracting early. Luckily it stopped with bed rest. This is my 4th pregnancy. I have also had period pains, tightenings and backache.

Has anybody had this.

Good morning, I was wondering yesterday how you were getting on. It really does sound like something that needs checking out. Can you phone your hospital today?

Did MW check your wee yesterday? Just wondering if the pains in your side could be a kidney infection or other UTI? Did she say anything about infection? I had this a few weeks ago and it's horrible. Also in later pg a UTI can bring on labour so it needs sorting out.

She said all bloods and samples came back fine. I am in a foul mood today and just want to be left alone by everyone. I'm exhausted and hurt. My ankles and feet haven't gone down from yesterday.

My wee had glucose in it again that is why I forgot half the things I wanted to mention as she kept going on about my glucose and having a blood test in the week.

Sorry you are feeling so crap.

No other advice to give except still think you should call hosp.
