I am shamelessly fishing for sympathy.

Hb count down to a lovely 9.5.

WOndered why I was a bit tired...

Oh, and 37 weeks today so expecting dc to arrive in a week or two, like ds did.

You need a nice bath a massage from dh and sleep.[passes chocolate through the air waves]

Oh bad luck! It sounds like you've had it all thrown at you, you poor thing!
I got told I'd hit 10 last week, (am 30 wks) and am blardy knackered.
My MW's got me taking Floradix (does NOT make you constipated, does NOT taste disgusting - both of these a pleasant surprise!) and DH is shoving leafy greens and red meat at me - but I'm still exhausted.
Hope you get some tasty iron into you soon!

Thank you ladies.

I did indeed end up in bed before your kind messages last night. Had a reasonable sleep too!

I have Spatone, which is meant to be quite good for the old iron count too. Hope it has time to kick in a bit before baby appears!

If you are 37 weeks, I would take 2 sachets of spatone a day (perhaps even three, one per meal)

Hope you feel better soon

Aye, am on 2 a day thanks.

Not sure if there is enough time to make any difference, but worth a shot, eh? And I'll be taking it for a few months after too I think.

You have all my sympathy, I have been taking 2 sachets of spatone a day for ages, plus eating tons of iron rich foods and have just been told I am anaemic, so have started taking the prescribed iron tablets (which always make me constipated and headachey) - bring on the prunes!
