Jumping on trampoline at 19 weeks. Worried.

I went with my DD onto a trampoline and we jumped 6 times together. One of the big ones at fairs. 6 high jumpes and a dozen tiny ones.

Not feeling so good now, tummy a bit sore. Maybe I'm imagining it because I'm such a dunce and I went on it in the first place.

Have I harmed my baby? I read all kinds of horror stories. Am seeing my doc for 20 week scan next weekend but need some reassurance (if there is any) now. Feeling so stupid.

Please help.

I doubt you've harmed your baby, but you might have strained your muscles!

I jumped throughout pregnancy with DC2 (my 2 year old never wanted to do it alone and I couldn't say no to that face !) - I am sure that's why DC2 was in thr optimum position when she was born. (By the way there is absolutely no medical evidence for this !)

I am sure the baby is absolutely fine and at least you'll have your 20 week scan to give you some reassurance.

I think those trampoline guidelines/companies like to cover themselves legally for any accidents and as long as you aren't doing flips and you are otherwise healthy, a few bounces isn't going to hurt anyone.

Doing flips...LOL... I think a little wee actually escaped when I bounced.

Thank you both for your kind reassurances.

My tummy still aches on my c-section scar. It was definitely the most stupid idea I had in a long time. Can feel the baby moving so I guess all must be well. Will check with my doctor next weekend.

Just told DH and my Mum and they were both freaked out I went on a trampoline...like 'No one else is that stupid and does that' and 'Can you not use your brain'.
