Hey all, this sounds bizarre but I'm 6 weeks today and am really excited!

I've bought a crib today because I just felt it made it real. I'm not planning on going on a mad spending spree but buying the crib made me feel great!

Anyone else bought anything really early on?

lol yes you are a bit mad!
still, no reason not to buy one, just don't look at any more or you;ll end up like me- seeing stuff you like better before baby is born lol

yes, we bought the cot, travel system, moses basket, loads of stuff at 10 weeks! i couldnt help it!

i was convinced LO was meant to be and didnt even acknowledge the possible chance i would miscarry

wish i hadnt though as im 28 weeks now, everything is bought and im bored and want to go baby shopping!

Lol Jellybean, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one.

I'm busy at work until 7 months so hopefully that'll stop me going too far, it's all just so exciting. Have two dd's 6 and 8 but feels like the first time again because there's a big age gap.

On my doc's app she told me more or less not to get too excited because lots of pregnancys end in mc (this was befor I bought the crib). So perhaps it's my way of saying 'well this one won't!'.

Yeah i think thats why i went and bought everything. My aunty had died the week before so i think it was my way of telling myself my baby would be ok, or my way of grieving. Who knows!

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and yesterday bought one outfit. First bit of baby retail therapy but as cute as it is, its made me nervous buying in my opinion, so early!!
