Pregnancy

2nd time around a feeling a lot more rough

I'm only 6 weeks but feel so much worse this time.
Last time I hardly had any sickness and had quite a lot of energy.

This time I am waking up at night and feeling sick and feel like I need to go to bed at 9.

Last time I had twins so my hormones should have given me worse symptoms - unless I'm having triplets this time - probably shouldn't joke.

Anyone else feeling worse second time around?

nods in agreement, only had and having the one tho!

I'm 16 weeks and feeling slightly better this week, not as tired and no sickness so things do get better! good luck witht the rest of the pregnancy.

I had one girl first time and was moderately ill and had one girl second time - was horribly ill in that pregnancy in comparrison. I think it can just be the luck of the draw how good or bad things are. I'm pregnant with #3 but no idea if boy or girl - this pregnancy much more like my first thankfully.

Yep, me too. I am 8 weeks and just want to sleep all the time, I feel utterly drained and useless. My poor 2 year old is having to watch a lot of tv!

Same, last time I was really fat and unfit and had an easy peasy ride.

This time I am healthy and fit and feel sooooo sick. Am still off at 11 weeks.

A bit unfair!

Me too up till about 15 weeks when I suddenly started to feel better. I know 15 weeks will seem ages Abubu but you'll get there!

yeah me too. Early on in this pgcy I had nausea - particularly motion sickness - not terrible but never had it last time. I was so exhausted I had to go to bed at same time as DS. (7.30!)
It did pass, but I'm still much more tired than I was last time. I'm 30 weeks now and whilst not as knackered as I was in the first trimester, still feel really lethargic. I can't believe I was happily commuting up to 38 weeks before (probably could have carried on till I gave birth) I work from hom now and I really want to start maternity leave right now! (sadly tis not to be)
