I have just been looking at the Avon Skin So Soft range, my Mum swears by them.

They were not developed as anti-mozzie, but as skin care until folk noticed that they had a great side effect.

I'll second skin so soft - great mozzie/midge repellant!

Skin So Soft doesn't work everywhere.

(BTW, It works because it has citronella in it and you need the pale turquoise one).

oooh, the pale turquoise one?

My mum has the pink one.

Does that mean that it is all a question of mind over midge?

Should I tell her?

On offer at the moment - save £3.25

That is great Lionstar. Will email my cousin, she used to do Avon. They don't sell online do they?

MmeLindt Fri 31-Jul-09 10:08:17

Duh, just noticed that is the online shop. I was looking earlier and found a info site but no shop.

They don't send abroad anyway so will have to see if my cousin can send me some.

IIRC, the pink one doesn't have citronella in it. Traditionally it's the "woodland" version which I think is now called "fresh" but is still pale turquoise

Thanks, SoupDragon. My cousin is sending me some.
