5 weeks and bleeding - advice/success stories?

Hey

I am 5+3 weeks today and started bleeding today. DH brought me to the hospital and had urine test which ws BFN, then BHCG which showed a level of 21.

Then had a scan and empty uterus but womb lining was 11mm which it should be at this stage -

The bleeding isn't very heavy - but I do have cramps and back pain. I am booked in for another scan in 2 weeks, if I have a BFP on a hpt.

So my question is... has anyone had this kind of bleeding and gone on to a successful? I gues I'm on another type of 2ww now.

I had bleeding at 7 weeks, alot of cramp pain all the way through, ds is 10 now. It's possible that it was an implantation bleed maybe?

Don't give up hope.

Oh Irish I'm so sorry you're having this worry now. I can't help I'm afraid, the only time I've had bleeding I have mc'd which I'm sure you don't want to hear. Fingers crossed it was just an implantation bleed. I had lots of cramps in the early weeks of this pregnancy, which was obviously early stretching going on. Hopefully that's what you're feeling. Take care and have some (((((((hugs)))))))))

Thanks Fluffy - that's what I was hoping someone would say.

Head I've said this on our other thread too - I'm just going to keep everything crossed for the next few weeks and hope it's just implantation that hurst a lot.

Little bean could just be burrowing down deep for the long haul. I know all mcs are different, but I had mine at 6 weeks each time and when I got the pains it was pretty obvious immediately that I was mc'ing. I'd been bleeding for a while beforehand and the cramps were very strong and for a couple of hours, followed by some large clots. Hopefully as your pain isn't really strong and you haven't had any clots it's a good sign.

Hi justmee so sorry to hear you are going through a similar situation - it's awful isn't it? HOpefully your bean is just really good at hiding.

Well today I have passd a few large-ish clots so think that it must be the end of the road for this pg. The cramps have gone to be replaced with a tight feeling (only way I can describe it)

Don't know what to say really - just have to keep on keeping on and get back on the ttc wagon I suppose.
