what if my morning sickness has suddenly disappeared in week 8?

I've had nausea throughout from week 4 - earlier this week, mostly in the evenings, but not actually vomited. I'm now 8 weeks and the sickness has completely disappeared in the last 2 days, I'm still knackered, but now worried about the absence of the sick feeling!! Am i just being paranoid?

don't worry. every woman is different. I didn't have any bad nausea (that couldn't be disappeared by eating) when I was preg with ds.

is it possible that you're further along then you think...ms usually disappears around 10 - 12 weeks...

Be glad! I had 2 days of sickness in week 5 then nothing else.

Don't worry - rejoice!

Congrats, you had a lucky escape. I had cronic nausea day and night for about 4 weeks. Most people I've spoken to said it disappears really suddenly but the tiredness lingers a bit longer (that was my experience too.)

My doctor said it normally doesn't mean anything other than you're body has got use to having the pregnancy hormome in your system. So people's systems adjust quicker than others. I wouldn't worry too much.

mine went about same time for a whole week- cue massive panic from me (as last time symptoms went it was an MMC ) anyhow they came back with a vengence a week later and still sick now (11 weeks) and hoping it will ease soon.

I think it's only if all your pg symptoms diminish that it could be a sign of MMC (that was certainly the case with me, I went from feeling every symptom to feeling totally non-pg in the space of a week of so).

But even then it doesn't mean it will be a miscarriage. During the first trimester of my pg with ds I had very inconsistent symptoms - felt fine one day, rubbish the next.

If all your symptoms go and don't return and you are worried you could go to your EPU for a scan for reassurance, but please try not to worry about this now. All the best.

thanks all bit freaked out now about the MMC, because I have such irregular AF - between 30-50 day cycles with no pattern, they are not giving me a due date until the first scan which is not for another 3 weeks so there is a chance I could be more than 8 wks (or less than) pregnant.
I still feel tired . do you think i should call the MW or doc tomorrow?

If you still feel tired, try not to worry. Your symtoms may come back like mine did.

Phone them for reassurance though if it will help.
