I think i've got one. Have been to the loo thi morning, and now feels like i constantly want to go - have been back to loo three times - and that's no mean feat with the loo being upstairs and me having SPD and nothing at all, just a slight tingle, iyswim? I know i probably haven't been drinking enough lately, so am trying to make up for that. I'm not sure if i should bother the doc with it either. Im 13 wks.

I'd get it checked and treated by doc tbh. If it continues, UTI's can make pregnancy harder on you and baby. The baby will manage alot better if you didn't have an infection. They are easily treated and there are a number of AB's that are safe to take.
I had constant UTI's through 2nd pregnancy and can't even tell you how many different courses of AB's I was on!

Thanks littleboyblue - i've just come back from Drs, and she seems to think that i do indeed have a UTI - i have both blood and protein in my urine and she's put me on amoxycillin while they get the results back.

Thanks for giving me the kick up the bum i needed.

Well done for getting it sorted - just wanted to add that if you don't feel better quickly (ie by tomorrow)then go back as I had this and need different antibiotics.

Deemented I agree with minx. Good on you for going.
Drink plenty of water. Cranberry juice is good, if you don't like the taste, mix with a bit of apple juice. Much nicer.
