When did you 'know' you were pregnant?

When the test said "Positive"?

When conception took place?

Few days before period was due?

With Dd & Ds I don't remember, I think when the test said positive, and MS commenced almost instantly from there!

holding the stick in my hands both times - was convinced it would be -ve, especially the second time
First time I had a pain in my coccyx (aka bum ache) from a few days before my period was due - looking back I can see this was a symptom but didn't realise at the time. The second time I didn't get bum ache until a few weeks in

With ds, when I got a +ve test. My body is very good at pretending to be pregnant.

I was definitely pregnant this month...until I got the -ve result and my period started (5 days late, the wee bugger!)

when I got the line on the test stick three days after my period was due.

With DS I felt that I was pregnant as soon as I conceived but this time round only when I did the test.

First time round I fell pregnant first month and just felt lucky but second time it took us a year and after loads of "definitely am pregnant" feelings like the first time I knew better for the second round.

I think really I knew pretty soon after conception, but we've had so many months where I've hoped and been dissapointed that I didn't believe it until I was a week late and had two positive tests in my hand!

ds1 - after the 2nd test! lol

ds2 - 3 days before my period was due, I had been on a course and was quite late to pick ds1 up from my parents. I got a McD and had "that metalic taste" in my mouth, knew then. Didn't do a test for another 5 days, but already knew.

1st baby - had suspicions when I couldn't face my evening G&T and ciggie

2nd pregnancy (miscarried in the end) - tested when my period was a day or so late. Thought it was pretty unlikely, so was quite surprised when got a BFP.

2nd baby - had suspicions when I started throwing up a couple of days before period was due.

1st baby - Forgot we were TTC, when I finally remembered I was 3 days late.

2nd baby - 4 days before period was due, woke up 2 mornings in a row at 5am with mild nausea and couldn't get back to sleep so decided to test, was very faint though.

Every time I've been pregnant (3 times) - I've just known even before my period was late. I'm not generally a particularly 'in tune' person where my body's concerned - I've never been one of those people who can say that X gives them wind or whatever. It's really odd and I am not able to explain it at all.

First 3 pregnancies - when tested (2 mc's)

4th pg (2nd dc) about 6 days before period was due - coccyx pain, funny taste in mouth (not metallic, more like washing up liquid) and insomnia.

I was a day late and I just thought I probably was. I have been on the Clomid so knew when I should come on. Waited an extra day and all business-like took the test and went, "Oh look, positive, that's that then" and carried on with my day even though have been trying for 18 months and had lots of tears.

It was like a great calmness and I did just know.

I don't "feel" preggers at all, am now 5-6 weeks.

With dd, I felt something happen about 10 days before my period, so I suppose it might have been the implantation?

It was just like mega pms and much earlier than I was used to having it.

But then I was convinced I was pregnant again a couple of months ago and I wasn't!

1st time I knew when I got the BFP but I strongly suspected I was due to very sore breasts and being 5 days late...

This time, suspected I was when dh commented my breasts looked a bit bigger than normal. Tested about 4 days before AF due and got a faint positive. Lots more tests every other day but truly acceoted it when got a strong bfp 2 days late.

5 weeks pregnant now, still don't physically 'feel' pg at all!

I done my test because my friend was worried about hers coming up positive, so we both done one to see the results, as we waited 3 mins she was hanging on to the edge of the seat while i was really calm, next thing i know mines sayed positive and hers was negative!

I burst into tears....
2weeks later when I went for my scan I was 12weeks pregnant! I burst out crying when i seen my son, it was all so true !

I only done it as a nice person, to help my friend do hers.... And it turned out I was the one pregnant,

Now im 37weeks gone and i can't wait to meet my boy, i look back and laugh all the time, its just weird how things turn out !

xx

I thought I was pregnant on day 19 of my cycle. I wasnt temping properly but guessed that we had timed the BD just right. But mainly I was incredibly thirsty. Just couldnt drink enough and felt really strange and kept thinking Im pregnant
Anyway extreme thirst isnt one of your usual signs of pregnancy so I tested on Day 22 with one of those early response tests, it came back negative. Disappointed over the long weekend.
Tested again on day 25 and got a BFP. Apart from thinking how stinky everything was I had no other symptoms.

1st time- when I got the + result, I was 2 days late and taking the test to "rule it out" lol

this time- 3 days before af was due I woke up in the early hours with sore nipples, thought to myself "im pregnant" and went back to sleep lol. Got a faint positive in the morning. (I am having twins so might explain the early symptoms)

I felt really really sick about a week before my period was due and I knew then. I couldn't bring myself to believe it until we had the positive test because I didn't want to be disappointed.

7 weeks pregnant after doing home pregnancy test

Ben TTC for 8 years, PCOS so irregular cycle, anything from 25 days to 80+days. Had fertility treatment that just didnt work. Was feeling knackered all the time and swollen boobs, not unusual for me as my hormones are all over the place most of the time but thought I had better do HPT before seeing GP as it would be the first thing she asked me to do if I saw her.

Couldnt stop shaking when after 30 secs I got the biggest, brightest BFP ever! Went round to shops and bought another 2 HPT's, different kinds, just to be sure.

After so many BFN's I just couldnt quite believe it. DS is 34 weeks tomorrow
