I have a beautiful 5 month old baby girl and I just found out that I am pregnant last night. I am excited and worried. My last pregnancy was not the easiest and I wanted a little time in between.
I know that there is a plan for the little life inside of me I just need some encourgament.
Anyone that has been through this can give me some....

Hi,

Congratulations! I am going to have 20 months between my two (now preggers with 2nd!) and just found out we are having another boy... We planned it as we wanted our two to be close in age so they can play with each other and have each other to talk to etc growing up. I know the first 6 months or so will be hell but I also hope that when they are 2/3, things will be a lot easier. Also, my first pregnancy was rubbish, it was high risk, I had two CVS tests and monitored through the pregnancy and had bad morning sickness! With this one, I have pretty much breezed through it so far (but am suffering from tiredness though!) so you might not suffer through this pregnancy. Good luck and CONGRATULATIONS, it will be brilliant!

There are 14 months between my niece and nephew and they are so lovely together. DN was too young for any sibling rivalry really and she can't really remember a time when her little brother wasn't around so she's not remotely resentful iyswim ? They play together really well. I know my SIL found the first 6 months really hard work but I she definitely thinks it was all worth it now

Good luck

Congratulations! My two boys are 19 months apart and it has been wonderful. The first few months were hard but as the other posters say it got so much easier when my second was six months. They are 2 and 4 now and love each other, they play together all the time - my life is actually easier than with one child. Your little girl is lucky to have a brother or sister so close in age.
The only trouble I found with having pregnancies close together was that my ligaments had not got back to normal, so I couldn't walk far from about the start of the third trimester. Good luck with it.

Congratulations!

My first 2 are 16mo apart and then dd2 is 21mo younger than dd1. It's hard work and a lot of fun- you'll be fine!
