pain in the arse. Yesterday I was told it was normal and today it is at the 'upper end of normal' so they are repeating it in 3 weeks time. It's so hard as dh has to take time off work to get the dd's to school and look after dd2 when she finishes playgroup. I know that sounds pathetic. Also I was so relieved last night I actually slept really well and can't quite stand the thought of another 3 weeks of worrying. .

Tis indeed a pain in the arse; we have the same, time off and dh having to take time off for getting dd from nursery. but try and look at it positively as at least ehy are looking out for you and are on the ball. mine was recommended after i randomly mentioned my sister was borderline with her ds, and mine came back just positive for GD- i am now under consultant care and diabetic team care. while it is a apin and scary, at least i know that i am being looked after.

good luck, i hope the result is better next time.

thanks, I know it's for the best. Can't help feeling a bit disappointed as I really thought I was in the clear yesterday.

I know how you feel as this happened to me - except I had 2 weeks in between the test results and finding out they were changing their minds!!

Just so you know the guidelines have very recently changed to lower the upper limit so a year ago you would have been fine!!!

My mw didn't bother re-testing and just sent me to the diabetes clinic!!
