Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
My baby is due this Sunday (14th June) but I have been reffered to the hospital for a growth scan tomorrow.
Everything is fine with the babies movements shes just measuring small for dates but
this has been the case throughout my pregnancy.
What use is a growth scan this late on?
Has anyone else had to have a growth scan this late on and what was the outcome?

They might induce you if baby is small, as baby would be better off out than in if that were the case.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, my appointment was actually for today at the hospital and the dr jus felt n measured my stomach and then said "we will book you in for a scan but everything seems ok" but unfortunatly i have to go back tomorrow for the scan.
The waiting to find out is killing me!! lol

As the other posters have said - it is a good thing that they are doing as at this stage, if they think placenta is beginning to fail, your bub is definitely better out than in.
I would make sure you have your hospital bag packed an ready (I took mine in my car boot and very nearly did need it!)
