Had a check up with community midwife today, she measured the above, something about it being 25 cms being good as am 25 weeks pregnant. What does this mean

roughly every week of pregnancy means it should measure about the same in cm.

am 32+6, so lets say 33 weeks, am measuring 34cm today at midwife check.

the fundus is the top of the uterus which can be felt as a muscular ridge.. it should measure in centimetres, from the bottom of the uterus to the top, the same in cm and as you are in weeks. of course some measure a cm or 2 different... just means your baby is nicely average if 25 cm fundal height at 25 weeks!

Thanks lulumama, never thought I'd say it but average is good! x

I found later in my pregnancy my fundus measurement didn't quite keep track with the cm/per week rule, which the MW wasn't concerned with as I am tall, and apparently this means the baby will sit deeper into the pelvis than with short bods. Worth bearing in mind.
