I hate being pregnant and Im only 9 weeks in. Im sick, Im tired, I haven't left the house for weeks. My DP has already run out of sympathy and I just feel crap. I cant eat most things and Im so fed up of toast and rice crispies. My poor Ds is suffering because Im struggling to look after him. and time is going so blood slowly. I just want to fast forward to the birth...actually after the birth.

Yep, me too. I'm not quite 8 weeks yet. It's shit, isn't it?

Your DP wants a good kicking.

I know that feeling stary - I still feel a bit fed up at 21+ weeks I'm afraid, though not as sick as earlier on in this pregnancy or throughout my 1st one.

Have you joined the relevant antenatal thread? You can moan to others who are also feeling really icky, and pass some time that way if you have the energy.

Hope it gets better for you.

The first trimester is awful. This is my first preg and I wasn't prepared for how crap I would feel. Had a very naive view that preg was a fabulous experience......how wrong was I??
Seeing my gp on Mon because nausea and sickness is ruining my life at the moment. groan moan groan

I think it is the not knowing when - if ever- it will start to get better. Makes it so hard to stay upbeat.

Me to,

im 10+4 with my first (and last I may add) and ive got that 24 hour morning sickness thing (not going to try and spell it).

Its going to be oh such fun when I go back to uni on Monday....

I am assured that at the stroke of midnight on first day of week 12 it will all go away suddenly....hmmmm.

I was on the phone to my mother before saying, ah, can't be much longer to go with the sickness, then she laughed and reminded me of having accupuncturetwice a week for sickness at 24-28weeks with my first. Ok, so it was over 4 years ago, but how could I have forgotten that?!? Grr, my body tricked me into forgetting so I'd have another..
I have a few hours to myself at the moment, I SHOULD do some hoovering or something like that, though I COULD get myself a blanket something to drink & curl up and watch trash.. I know which is more appealing right now!!

Yeah, I felt shit until 3 days ago. I hated every second of feeling sick, no energy, sitting on the sofa at 6 and then falling asleep on it at 8. Every day.

I now hate telelvision.

It will be over soon though, honest.

Although I know this is of absolutely no comfort at the moment.

God knows how people can be so casual about having babies - it interferes with your life so much!

MissyK don't you dare do the hoovering. You're busy growing a baby. Get on the sofa.
