Work colleague going on mat leave. Ideas for pressies?

I'm on mat leave myself so sort of know but I want to make up a bag with treats for her such as big box of maltesers, nice bath stuff, book etc. What else could I put in and any recommendations for books?

I will get baby pressie when it arrives so want to stick to things for her now.

TIA

Some DVDs? Best thing that got me through the first few weeks was DVD boxsets of favourite programmes.

A luxury handcream.
Hands get in such a mess with all the extra trips to the loo before the baby and all the washing of hands after baby is born.

We got a colleague vouchers for a shoe shop, for a pair of shoes she'd been lusting after for ages.

Voucher for a pedicure? Or other beauty treatment to pamper herself - some places do special pre-natal massages or facials. But a luxury pedicure would be fab I reckon.

My favorite book of all time is 'The Secret History' by Donna Tartt. It's been out for years but everyone I know that has read it loves it. It grips you and can't be put down!

I'm currnently pg and wouldn't like a handcream TBH - I have sensitive skin and some creams bring me out in a rash

Ditto beauty treatmetn - I'd rather the monehy was spetn on something else like DVDs, baby clothes etc

Mothercare Voucher was what my work got me and to be honest i was over the moon with it as it meant that all the little things that we couldn't really afford we could get with that. Plus someone got me some Santuary Mum to Be bath soak and collagen cream for stretch marks, it is lovely.

Had some DVD's too but still haven't watched them.

I'm still here. Thanks everyone. Have made a list and will hit the shops on Thursday so keep any more ideas coming. Work will probably get her vouchers but this is just from me as I'm not technically in the office at the moment, hence the non-baby emphasis

I can do the buying lovely baby things in a month or so
