Maybe try eating little and often. It could just be that your stomach is being a bit squashed now.

As for feeling down, hormones are all over the place throughout pregnancy, so ups and downs are normal. However, if you continue to feel like this, have a chat with your midwife. Maybe you need some more iron in your diet?? Or maybe you need a nice rest?

I am 28 weeks and I sometimes feel a bit sick after eating - especially if I eat too much or too late in the evening. I also think that I feel a bit down if I am tired and try to get early nights because I am often woken at the crack of dawn by DDs.

Is this your first?

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi,

I'll join in! Im 29 weeks and feel as sick as a dog! I had hyperemesis from week 5 to week 16 and then it went (thank goodness!) however the nausea started kicking in about 10 days ago and it gets worse everyday. So much so that i've lost my appetite in the evenings again....just cant face food. It is not hyperemesis but i fear that it is on its way back. Everyone has said it is the fact that your stomach is squashed and excess acid. Could be worth trying some gaviscon to nuetralise your stomach.......

As for the depression, as annoying as it is to hear it, it is "normal". I get days where i feel like shite (excuse my french) and get really teary over nothing. The other night i sobbed and sobbed my eyes out to DP about my birth worries.......was being irrational and downright crazy about it all but couldnt get a hold of myself. when you feel like it, just take deep breathes and remember that you're on the home stretch!!!!

Hope you feel better
