Low amniotic fluid at 26 weeks?

Hi, I went for a private scan today and got told my Amniotic fluid is low. It's still in the 'normal' range but is right at the bottom of it. The Sonographer said to speak to my midwife which i will do but just wondered if any of you ladies have experienced this and what happened?
