Just wanted to reassure you that it is a great age gap There is 17 months between my boys and I didn't find it too difficult - I just had to be a little more organised! Because DS1 was still very young I didn't get any of that classic jealousy - he was just fascinated with his new brother and now because they are close in age they are great friends and have kept each other entertained brilliantly this summer I am so glad I did it this way every day when I watch them together so take a deep breath, have a cuppa and think of how lovely your DD will be with a sibling. Congratultaions

congratulations!

you'll be fine.....you have bad days with one, and a bad day with two is the same but noisier!!

lots of my friends have an 18month gap or less, and say it is fairly easy because you are still in the swing of having a baby...you know, feeding, nappies, broken nights etc..

hope all goes well for you!

Congratulations!

I think that "Oh my word, what have we done?" is pretty common with a DC2 pregnancy, no matter how planned. I know I felt that way, and we had a bigger gap between DCs.

Congratulations! There's 18 months between my two, and it was hard work at first, but they now adore each other.

I had an 18 month old and a newborn....I now have nearly 6 month old and a nearly 2 year old. It has been ok, pretty noisy at times.

I had lots of hormonal wobbles during DD2's pregnancy, is fab now she is here though. They adore each other soooooooo much is lovely seeing them interact with each other.

Congratulations
