am about 16 weeks pg. Have had awful hayfever every night for last few weeks and took piriton a lot. Usually hayfever not that bad at all, might have to take one every few weeks or so.
Now my nose is bleeding from blowing is so often, have tissues stuffed up my nostrils (nice!)and a pain in my face.
What can I safely take?
Am miserable as you may have guessed. Sympathy please ...

Hmm this happened to me at 16 weeks and i thought it was hayfever, then i checked my preg books and states that all the blood rushes to your mucous membranes etc. makes your sinuses hurt, gives you blocked nose and often nose bleeds. i gave up on the hayfever remedies as nothing worked was a pregnancy thing.... sorry

I'm nearly 35 weeks and my pelvic floor is shot. I woke myself up this morning by simultaneously sneezing and weeing myself. It's demoralising. I wonder if I will ever get it back

you can use the hayfever steroid nasal sprays safely when preg...will prob help to ease the sinuitis too...not instant effect though, you may need to use for a few days to feel the benefit.
