I've seen that before, it's amazing isn't. I think my baby is trying to achieve just that as I write . Not sure i'll ever see a foot as clearly as that with the amount of flesh it has to get through lol

Do you think it's real? A bit of a stroke of luck that the baby happened to do that right as someone was photographing!

Oh Sally - I don't feel so bad now!!

I'd be amazed that you'd capture the toes anyway as they aren't mega boney are they (I know there are bones in the toes but you know what I mean!) so would be very surprised you'd see that detail through all the layers - the fluid, the amniotic sac, the uterus, the fat, muscle and skin.

well I did wonder when I 1st saw it and thought it probably wasn't real. But i'm sure it can and does happen though so..........

I don't actually think it's real either. I'm 8 months pg at the moment and the most I've ever seen is a lump as my baby moved. While I was pg with my twin DS's 3 years ago I could see the shape of a leg or arm, with a bend in it but I don't think you'd see definition like that pic.. Still quite sweet tho

yeah, 'tis sweet. Mears would be able to tell us if she's seen anything like it, maybe in some skinny waif
