1st birth vs 2nd birth?

How long were your labours? What gestation did you go into labour?

What did your babies weigh?

1st was 9 days late. 6lb10. Labour was 19 hours. Only at the hospital for 4 of those.

Due 2nd in a couple of months. Scans are suggesting this baby will be 8-9lb.. not sure I believe these are correct,

1st. Was induced at 39+3 due to high bp, I had multiple pessary, hormone drip and was so off my head on G&A that they talked me in to an epidural. She arrived over 7.5 hours after they broke my waters, had to have vontouse as she was in distress with cord round neck. An average 7lb 7oz at 39+6 (less than an hour to due date).
2nd. Slow labor, checked by consultant at 39+6 and was 1cm dilated. Went to hospital at 40+4, only 5cm and they refused to break waters because of polyhdramnios. Kept in hospital contracting all night and next day, still 5cm. They broke my waters, had meconium in water because he'd been left too long. 2hr 19mins later he flew out at the midwife after 15 mins of pushing and getting shoulders stuck. I don't remember much if the time between waters and being rushed to a bigger room when he was wedged thanks to that G&A lol. 10lb 12oz @ 40+5wk, little chunk.
With our 3rd I took it easy with G&A, 2 days labor. Hospital at 5cm 2 days over due date
she arrived 11 mins after waters broken, tore but only a few pushes to get her out. 40+2, 9lb 10oz.
4&5 breech twins delivered by elective cesarean at 38wk, 8lb 5oz & 8lb 11oz. Fab sizes for twinnies, not that I expected small ones.
Currently 10+2wk following a mc at 9wk in July, on countdown for dating scan in a couple of weeks and hoping all is well.

First was 38+1 three and half days - assisted delivery
Second was 38+4 around 12 hours from first niggles - water birth and no time for pain relief

Due my third in 26 days (not that I'm counting or anything Blush and hoping for a repeat of number 2.

@Chelyanne impressive!! I'd love a large family, but pregnancy and labour scare me a little. Currently 35 weeks with 2nd, hopefully we're aiming for 3 or 4 children.

Dc1 at 39+5 spontaneous, 12 hour labour 9lb 4oz.
Dt 37 induced, 7 hours both 6lbers.

I wouldn't believe the predicted weights both my pregnancies were way out (especially the twins both expected to be 1.5lb lighter).

Following as currently 40+3 with DC2 and praying for as little intervention as possible as was induced with DC1 at 41+1 weeks (didn’t give birth until 41+4) due to reduced and erratic movement.
