Im 22weeks and just debating when to start buying all the things we need for baby (I'm just getting my head around a long list!) I'm not due till end of March.

Would you start getting stuff in the the Black Friday sale or wait for January sale?

I was due in May and we bought (mostly) everything in the January sales. It was ridiculously early but then lockdown 1 happened so we were glad we had everything sorted in the end!
Also you may be early so good to be prepared if you can be. Good luck with everything!

I would start to buy now, grab bits while they are in sale and store away until ur ready to do the nursery. It also spreads the cost out if u do it bit by bit

I'm 16 weeks and already have lots of things like a pram, next to me crib, playgym etc. Doesn't hurt to get it early if you see it on sale and I think it's better to gradually get things to spread the cost out rather than buy it all at once. I just keep it in the cupboard under the stairs so it's not in the way!

I due same time as you and i started buying stuff and crossing some items off this endless list 😅
I find it's quite time consuming doing research, comparing brands and prices etc... so would start now not to rush later
And black friday and xmas sales will be a plus!

Personally, I'd wait until January but then we bought very little before they were born and bought things as we needed them afterwards Smile

I'm due end of March too and as of this week have now bought all the big things. Started buying a few bits after 12 week scan but nothing big, then a few more bits after 16 week scan but waited till after 20 weeks to buy the big stuff. My 20 week scan came nicely before all the black Friday sales and so I've managed to get great deals on the pram, car seat, bedside crib and nursery furniture. I think once you've had your 20 week scan you're app good to start buying 😊 x

When I've had my next ultrasound and it's OK (20 wk anomaly scan) I'll start buying slowly.

I had everything bought by 22 weeks 🙈 if you see a good deal then get it. Some bigger items can sometimes take weeks to come especially at the moment so you don’t want to be left short

I wanted to wait till 30 weeks... In first pregnancy was due in April with my first.... I bought key items in the January sales.. Nursery furniture, car seat and ordered pram
Then made a list and slowly worked my way through when saw a bargain

Can I ask what you're getting?

I'm due mid March and have bought a bedside crib, car seat, pram, and breast pump. All in various sales. I'll wait until January for the rest, I just saw really good reductions so went for it!

I'm due mid march and have most of the big bits apart from nursery furniture. Have bought pram, car seat/isofix in the sales - pram was 30% off so couldn't pass on it!! Personally I think if you see a good deal then go for it :)
