Reduced movements and feeling a bit sicK

Hi ladies, I’m only 21 weeks so I’ve not called anyone about this as I have a feeling I’ll be told nothing can be done until I’m 28 weeks, but over the last couple of weeks I’ve gotten used to feeling the baby quite regularly but over the last couple of days movements have been hard to identify. I felt some flutters around 3pm and nothing since then. I’ve tried Pepsi max and laid down and nothing yet. Is 6 hours enough to worry or am I being silly? FTM X

I personally didn’t feel any regular movements with either of mine at this stage and if I did was a fluttering feeling at best so can’t compare.
Perhaps ring your mw for a bit of reassurance x

Ring your midwife and get seen, they will probably call you in and check baby's heartbeat, it could just be that baby has moved xxx

Thank you both for the replies! Not sure if it makes a difference but I’ve just been sick... second time this pregnancy.
Stupid question but I only have a mobile number for midwife, do I call that out of hours?

Have you got any contact numbers in your notes? Mine had stickers in it with contact details. I went several times to get baby movements checked but it wasn't until later on. At your stage I can't remember it being all that regular. I am sure there's nothing to worry about but definitely get checked for your own peace of mind xx

Call the mobile or ring the hospital, do it now to put your mind at ease xxx

You can call the hospital - labour ward or antenatal ward and explain and they will
Advise you. X

Please call the labour ward. This is fine after 20 weeks. They will never say you shouldn't have called Thanks.
