Feeling alone and wanting some ‘mummy’ friends

I’m 9 weeks today and obviously because of COVID it’s impossible to be able to go to groups to meet other mums to be.

I’m glad we’ve told our immediate families so far and have their support, but there’s just some things that would be nice to be able to share with other mums, especially around the same week.

I’m from Worthing, West Sussex...are there any mums to be on here who are also local to me. I would love nothing more than to get chatting x

I would ask your midwife/health visitor to put you in touch with other mums in your area at about the same stage of pregnancy.

@Laurie01
Can they do that? I’m new to this and it’s such a weird time anyway, I don’t know what you can ask for or not

Have you joined NCT? They are still doing classes/meetups online.

Download the peanut app, it gives you the opportunity to connect with other mums in your area!

I second trying Peanut. I've just moved to a new area and within a week of using it I've met one other mum who lives locally and seems lovely. I've chatted to a few others but its been a bit more stilted.
