Trying to decide between the icandy peach or orange. They seem pretty similar in functionality. Anyone have any experience of the latest models of either? Thanks :)

I have an apple 2 pear. I was going to get the orange when my 3rd was due ( I flaked as I had spent a load of money on the apple couldn't justify it again) I liked the way as a double you can have a bassinet on the bottom. Not sure if that can be done with the peach. Either way I candy is a brilliant brand
Mine has done serious kms and it's still going well. Never had to get anything replaced

Best of luck

I have an orange and my sister a peach, we both agree that the orange is much better. The basket for a start is huge and I've quite often rolled into a supermarket with an asleep baby, done a full shop and rolled it all home with it all fitting in the basket. It also has a built in buggy board which is very useful for an older child if have/ may have another in the future (it can also convert to a double too). I've got a picture somewhere from last summer with the pram carrying 4 children (1 in seat, 1 in basket and two on the buggy board) after a very long day at the beach 🤣.

I was deciding between the peach and the orange, eventually chose the peach as its smaller. While I love it, I slightly wish I had chosen the orange due to the built in buggy board.

I didn't have an iCandy myself I opted for a bugaboo instead but my close relative had the peach and it was extremely heavy. Stylish looking pram but she switched to a collapsible buggy at 6 months as she didn't like it x

I looked at them recently in JL and compared the Peach and Orange.

I loved the tall adjustable handle bar, fold and the large basket on the Orange but have not ordered it yet. Great to hear positive feedback on thr orange. Any negatives to be aware of please?

I had the orange with my two honestly the best thing I have ever bought. But I am struggling to sell it now which is a huge shame.

The orange isn’t as small when collapsed as some pushchairs, but that doesn’t really bother me. I’m struggling to think of downsides, I love ours! Love the different ways you can position a seat and carrycot or two seats. Easy to push including over grass which our last one wasn’t. So easy to put up and down. If you want to use the buggy board you need to use some connectors- which basically just move the seat forwards, I love that the buggy board is built in and doesn’t need attaching separately. Huge basket for shopping. I honestly can’t fault it.

Hi, I know this thread is a few months old but looking for some more info on this too. FTM to be and I really struggle to find what the differences are between the Peach and the Orange (mainly as a single at the moment) apart from minor differences in weight, dimensions and size of basket. Yet there seems to be some very reasonable online deals on the Orange at the moment, but the Peach remains very pricey. What would be the reason for this? Grateful for any further opinions especially from those who may have had experience with both.

My top 3 choices at the moment are the Orange, Peach, or M&P Ocarro. I loved the Ocarro but was a bit put off by the weight, and also it can't convert to a double which isn't the worst thing in the world but would be a bonus to have. But I am really struggling to work out the pros and cons of Orange vs Peach as there's such limited info online about the differences!

Theyve literally just brought out the 2021 orange, the deals are probably on the 2018

I have a 2018 currently using for 19 month old, use built in buggy board for 4 year old too. Will be using as a double once new baby is born

The orange can be used as a double with buying a £50 adapter set, costs more to set peach up as double

@THATbasicSNOWFLAKE thanks, would you recommend the orange? Any drawbacks? I don't mind buying the older model if it's massively slashed in price and is still decent.

Ive only had mine a couple of month but no issues so far, its wide but as it can be a double i think thats too be expected. The seat until isnt huge, our ds is 19m but in 2-3 clothes and his head is nearing the top of the seat

I have a peach and love it but now expecting my second and it’s going to cost me 400 for an additional seat- I don’t love the configurations either.

If I could pick again knowing I’m having another baby I would get the orange. I will be selling my peach and replacing with an orange all being well

@bbb2019 oh very interesting thank you! Looks like the Orange is the clear winner atm from this thread!

I was also drawn to the orange as the carrycot is meant to be bigger than on the peach and we tend to have larger babies

Sorry to sound really dumb @THATbasicSNOWFLAKE so basically if I get an icandy orange bundle which already includes seat unit and carrycot, in a year or two's time if I have another baby, I literally just need to spend 50 quid on adaptors to convert to a double? Honestly sounds too good to be true! Obv if I wanted 2 seat units I'd have to buy another but think would probably just use carrycot/seat configuration as a double.

Yes @Luckyelephant1, to use the seat and carrycot at the same time all you need is this
discountbabyequip.co.uk/products/icandy-orange-double-converter-kit?variant=32474476150920&currency=GBP&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google+shopping&adGroupId=43734768953&device=m&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIi4SvubGk8AIVR4jVCh2w7gL-EAQYASABEgL8cfD_BwE

Sorry i am rubbish at links!

Also if you did want to use two seat units you just buy another seat fabric (£100ish) and that fits onto the same frame as the carrycot. With the peach you would need to buy a frame plus fabrics making it more ££

@THATbasicSNOWFLAKE thanks, makes perfect sense. We're about to order the Orange, just looking for the best deal online now and trying to work out a compromise between price vs the colours we like 😂🙄

I know this is old...but I'm curious what peaches you had? Because I have a peach...and mine has all that.
Buggy board, height adaptors, massive basket, can be single or double..
